As I have now completed my course as of 26th September, 2014 I will finish with a round up of the month’s Et report from Harvest.com:

Weather 15-09-14
Weather 08-09-14

Weather 01-09-14
This is the “official” first day of Spring. As noted in Propagation though, the pagans started to celebrate spring some 4 weeks earlier and we are only 3 weeks from the Spring Equinox, when the sun will be closest to 12 hours of day and night. There was frost on the ground this morning but little fog, which burned away quickly. The day rapidly warmed up as we can see from the Et figures below the forecast for Alex.
The following are all taken from Harvest.com
Finally the entire figures for the month of August:

Weather 27-08-14
Today was our pruning trip to Arthur’s Point in Queenstown. I have the weather for both Alex and Queenstown from MetService. It was certainly a bright and sunny day once the frost cleared. Unusually the weather is quite similar in both places… just Alex having slightly lower temperatures throughout.
Weather 25-08-14
I was saying on my radio show yesterday that there would be light winds all week. I don’t think they have been though, it was too windy to finish my fence this afternoon. The weather from MetService for the next 5 days:
I also have the last week’s evapotranspiration (Et) figures:
Weather 12-08-14
It was a full moon yesterday morning and the mornings have continued to be very cold, sometimes warming during the day 🙂
The forecast from MetService:
I have the Et figures for the last week from the usual Monday date, as they have improved the data manipulation on the Harvest.com site, so although I found it hard to work out initially, I think the improvements have shown themselves over time 🙂
Weather 07-08-14
There was a beautiful double rainbow this morning!
Which also meant that it was raining pretty hard on my cycle into college! Again I wish that I had got another catch can… However I can legitimately now use the OP site readings as my garden 🙂 The snow which has been forecast all week for Friday is still looking like it will happen.
The MetService forecast for Alex:
And I also took note of the OP site figures from Harvest.com:
You can see why there was a sudden drop in temperature just after 9am if you check the wind direction. Changed from NNW to SW!
